Hey all!

I am PvB Bets and I have been in the sports gambling business for about 3 years now. When I started I had very little idea how to responsibly manage my bankroll and how to properly evaluate value in betting. Since day 1 I have been a sponge – soaking up everything there is to know about how to become a profitable sports bettor. The easy answer is there is no single way to be profitable, but there are several ways to make sure you have long term success. I’m hoping to share what I’ve learned with you all, since I think most sports bettors without any knowledge. Sports betting is supposed to be fun, but doesn’t winning moey long-term make it more fun?

I firsted started dipping my toe in sports gambling when it became legalized within my state. I signed up for 3 or 4 sportsbooks and took the free promotional money from them that they offered. Since opening those accounts I HAVE NEVER put additional money into them. I turned the promotional money into cash and re-invested that money into longer term winnings. I have had plenty of bumps along the way, but the truth is if you can responsibly manage your bankroll you can weather the “learning curves” and “rough patches”.

I won’t bore you anymore! Look for more content soon. A little bit more about me… I have a full-time job as a scientist, hence the analytical approach, with 3 kids. I use most of my free time for research and engaging with the community. I am currently a sports consultant for the Cook The Books discord and release free plays (with analysis) and resources on a variety of platforms: Twitter, Instagram and Threads. I primarily consult for MLB, NFL and NBA. I’m also a part-time professor who enjoys both learning and teaching. I hope this blog serves as an educational foundation for some!
